Delivered by the Minsteracres team -We welcomed retreatants and friends of Minsteracres last weekend to the theme ‘The God Who Speaks.’ We explored new ways of celebrating, living and sharing God‘s word in our own lives, within our parishes and partnerships.
As with the rest of the country we have been observing lockdown since the beginning of the year and we are looking forward to welcoming people back to the walled garden in larger numbers than we have been able to accommodate due to the restrictions.
Re-Co Co (Recovery College Collective) arrived on the 22nd June and enjoyed the space as well as the activities that had been planned in advance of them arriving by Liz Holmes & volunteers from Outreach group based here at Minsteracres.
Jim Darlington and David Collins led the three-day Walking Retreat. Daily reflections took place at the beginning and at the end of the day. The theme of the retreat was Gratitude, Prophecy & Hope.
A group of 11 people ventured north from a Passionist sister house in London for a three-day break with our outreach team this week.
The Peace Garden at Minsteracres is enjoyed by many, not solely the Let’s Get Growing team.
