The Divine Right of Transformation with John Bell

This rather bewildering title is essentially about how God effects change and expects us to be part of it. The ministry of Jesus was not about keeping everything on an even keel, but about liberating people – from illness, from half truths, from discrimination, and from expressions of faith which restricted rather than enhanced their humanity
If this is the case, then the direct implication is that people of faith should continue what Jesus began, and ensure that their personal and social choices, their spirituality and discipleship should always be in process.
We will look at scripture, the lives of the saints past and present, and the life of the world which God made and loves.
John Bell is a writer and occasional broadcaster, a member of the Iona Community who teachers and lectures extensively at home and abroad.
