Sing a New Song to the Lord, the music of Estelle White. On this day retreat we are introduced to the timeless work of Estelle White, professional, musician and nun. Estelle transformed praise and workship with hymns including ‘Oh the Love of My Lord is the Essence’ and ‘I saw the grass’. Veronica Whitty takes us on a journey wherein we discover the woman, her influences and adversities and we encounter her choice to focus on praise over suffering. Lunch and refreshments included.

Veronica Whitty is awriter, who has lived in the North East since 1997. She has volunteered with Mother Teresa`s nuns in Kolkata, Guatemala, the US and London. She has written a biography of Estelle White and produced a CD of an interview Estelle gave to Fr John Skivington.
