Come Holy Spirit – Pentecost Retreat with Fr Chris Thomas This will be an opportunity to pray for the coming of the Holy Spirit this Pentecost, encountering the silence and stillness that draws us to God.  We shall engage in talks, discussions, shared prayer and praise as we explore the writings of the Acts of the Apostles and discover their meaning and direction for our lives.

Fr Chris Thomas is a priest of the Liverpool Archdiocese and a Director of the Irenaeus Project a project which aims to highlight the whole area of spirituality for everyone.   Fr Chris has been a full-time Youth Chaplain, University chaplain and a Parish Priest and is part of the Harvesters Men’s steering group and the Catholic Spirituality Network.  He has spoken all over the British Isles, Ireland and mainland Europe.  Fr Chris is the author of ‘Love is the Key’, ‘Holiness is for everyone’, ‘Forgiveness is for giving’ and many more, writing regularly for periodicals and magazines.  Above all, Fr Chris loves working with the Scriptures and encouraging people to see them in a different way.  His hobbies include reading, music, football and filling his house with ‘so called antiques’ …others may well say junk!
